Zopo launches Color M4 smartphone with 4G VoLTE and 5 MP CMOS camera at Rs 4,999

Zopo Smartphones has recently launched its latest 4G VoLTE device named Zopo Color M4 in India. The phone makes the latest entry in the Zopo Color series and has been specially designed for the budget users. The company has released the phone in a press conference in Lucknow and has stated that no other phone with similar features exists in the same price category. Thus,relying on its features at a budget price, the phone has been launched and will be made available from April 25 across all offline retailers at a price of Rs 4,999.

Zopo Color M4 comes in a nice rectangular design with plastic body finish all over it. As the name suggests, it comes in many color variants namely - Peach, Matte White, Indigo, Charcoal Black, and Carribean Blue to choose from. It has a dimension of 125.5 mm x 64.0 mm x 10.6 mm and weighs as light as 114 gm. The phone has a 4 inch IPS touchscreen display which has a resolution of 480 x 800 px and a pixel density of 233 ppi.

The device has a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor which is further supported by ARM Mali T720-MP1 650MHz GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM with expandable memory support of up to 64 GB via microSD. Camera wise, the phone hosts a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and a secondary 2 MP camera for capturing selfies. The primary camera has a CMOS sensor with fixed autofocus feature which allows capturing clear pictures and videos at a 720p rate. The secondary camera, on the other hand, has fixed focus and even supports video chatting feature. Besides the usual specification, the camera supports additional features which include smile shot,geo-tagging, panorama mode, continuous-shot mode etc.

Connectivity features are pretty decent as the device include Wi-Fi 802.11/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB-tethering etc. It has a dedicated dual SIM slots, of which one supports micro while the other supports a regular SIM. It even has the 4G VoLTE support, which is one of the USP of this device. The device also has a 3.5 mm jack for audio accessibility and FM support. Sensors present on this device include Gravity sensor, Accelerometer, and Light sensor. It is powered by a 1450 mAh battery with micro USB charging support.

Hence, at a price of 5k, Zopo Color M4 offers a wide range of features including a decent camera and connectivity options. It even supports over 25+ regional languages that make it even better for people who prefer menu options in regional languages. With Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and 365 days replacement warranty, this device is surely going to attract people who are looking for a durable budget smartphone, especially in the rural parts of India.
