The Delhi based Zen mobiles is going bullish over the Indian mobile markets. The company's already got Mr. Amitabh Bachchan as their brand ambassador and recently introduced the TV enabled mobile phone, Z82 in India. Let's take a look at this phone and find out whether it's worth the price.

First Impression:
Zen-Mobile-Z82

This phone is a FULL QWERTY phone with a big 6 cm (2.4") QVGA screen. The screen is big enough to let you enjoy videos and television on this phone. The phone comes in 7 different colors to suit your choice.

Technical Specifications:

  • Quadband: What this means is this phone supports 4 different GSM frequencies. That is, this phone will work pretty much everywhere in the world.
  • Camera: This phone's got 2 mega pixel camera. You can click 'okay' looking photos with this phone and also capture videos.
  • Dual SIM: This phone supports GSM+GSM networks. That means you can carry two separate numbers in single mobile.
  • microSD: Ths phone comes with 2 GB microSD card. There's no official word on this phone about the supported memory. My best guess is that this phone would support at least upto 8Gb external memory.
  • Battery: Again, there's no official information available about this phone about the battery and backup time. If someone gets this information from other sources, please update this thread.
Verdict: This phone is available at a price of Rs. 4799/-. I think for the price, the phone is a good choice considering you can watch TV on it.
