YouView: Launched in UK - July 4th 2012

Good News for all the friends from UK....

YouView is an IPTV television service in the United Kingdom which finally launched today 4 July 2012

Receivers for the same are due to go sale later in the month. The venture is a partnership between four broadcasters (BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV) and three communications companies (Arqiva, BT and TalkTalk). YouView platform will allow UK consumers access to a range of third-party services (television channels, radio stations, on-demand services and internet content) using a set-top box connected with an internet connection and an aerial to watch digital terrestrial television channels.
