Yfrog Social Is ImageShack's New Social Network [Video]

Yfrog, a product of ImageShack, was introduced in 2009 as a photo sharing service and became extremely popular. All thanks to Twitter, which required a separate applications to share photos, Yfrog became the need of the hour. Twitter soon realised the importance of photo sharing for a social network and came up with its inbuilt photo sharing service, leading to downfall of the ImageShack service.

Jack Levin, Founder of ImageShack has now come up with Yfrog Social - a full fledged social networking platform for web as well as iPhone (an Android App is well along the way too). It might turn out to be the best one as it is a combination of the services offered by Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn.

The social network is based on security, privacy and simplicity which allows the user to add content for a specific group. Additionally, it includes high resolution photo sharing abilities of ImageShack. It's ad-free freemium paid business model and an entirely open API make it a lot more interesting over others. This social network allows the user to import friends from Google and LinkedIn only, syncing it with Facebook, Google+ or any other similar platform is not possible. Will it work? - Share your opinions with us through comments.
