are there any XML editor availabe from where i can do some HANDS ON TRAINING for SOAP/REST

But you can try oxygen, it has all you need for xml editor -
ankur8819i would suggest you SoapUI. This tool can help you to understand how the request and response payloads look like. Also this can be integrated stub generation tools like Axis2.
