It is a known fact that all previous versions of Windows come with built-in games like Solitaire, Minesweeper and now that might be changed a bit in the Windows 8 version. According to certain reports, the games will now offer Xbox Achievements as they are listed under a label called "Xbox Windows."

Mahjong will offer 25 Gamerscore in three Achievements, Solitaire will give 40 Gamerscore for three achievements, and Minesweeper will offer 50 Gamerscore for four Achievements. In Minesweeper, you will loose 5 Gamer Points when you get blown up by your first mine. Solitaire Collection and Mahjong will award you 10 and 5 Gamerscore for flipping over your first card and changing the theme respectively.

This new Game range, “Xbox Windows” appears to be separate from the current Games for Windows Live service. This development was, in some ways, expected as Windows 8 is fully integrated with Xbox Live and Microsoft's new SmartGlass system. The new OS which is set to launch in October will include full Xbox live integration and that will give full access to Games Market place, users' Xbox profile, Achievement haul, Avatar functionality and more.
