Earlier, there were speculations that the Redmond giant will pack a GPU drived from AMD's 7000 series Southern Islands GPU. However, the latest information more or less confirms that the GPU will be a customized version of AMD Radeon 6670 processor which was introduced last year. What this means is that the console will be six times faster than XBOX 360. We've also been hearing the rumors that the Kinect is getting ready to be more precise in motion detection and will be capable of capturing even your lip movements. We're sure that the Kinect will be able to respond quickly to your verbal abuse during the gameplay.
We're bit surprised to learn about this development. The launch date is next year and Microsoft seems to be using the chip that was launched last year. It's true that it adds lot of speed and performance to the console and even makes 720 about 20% faster than Nintendo U. Sony must be watching and if the earlier reports are to be confirmed, they've rolled up their sleeves to launch the PS4 around the same time. We'd like to ask our readers who do they think will win the battle of hardware?
