Would You Trust Advice / Reviews From CEans Or Your Facebook Friends?

Facebook in my opinion is not a very good place to ask question related to Technology itself So I would go with CEans I met in the last few months

Good to know that, but let me clarify - we're not talking about technology only. We get many questions about careers, jobs, choosing a company, buying a gadget and several non-tech questions.

Have you ever posted a simple circuit or asked about whether to buy a mobile phone in FB before?

If any one has done this they would not ask or even imagine about asking any questions again😯

You are considered a nerd if you post a query related to any thing

But the facebook page of the company or device has a little info and also comments which are from total stranger
I go with CEans comment than with others who comment as total stranger in FB pages of the device or any thing

I generally never ask such sensitive and important question to anyone. Everyone can get their answers provided they do that be lazy and do research on their own. I believe no one for the matter of fact. Most I would ask to my dad, IRL sensible friends or someone who's at respectable level, who knows what he's talking.
Rest if online questions are concerned, NEVER!

The question is not about where do you get your advice from in general. The discussion is specifically about trust in advice given by FB vs on CE.

I feel that advice from CEans is trustworthy as here people come together to share knowledge and help each other 😀,In FB friends get together so there mixed views are bound to come up, So views from CE are good enough for me👍.

I don't have an original FB account so no question of taking advises practically.😒
Well,it depends on ones belief and experiences also.People who have good reviews regarding FB advice will find FB more trustworthy and the same condition applies to CE also or it might be both.Regarding technology ,I find CE as a great help and there are some aspects of life (some sort of emotional turmoil) can be shared with an FB friend who might be very close to you .
Personally,I,having no FB account ,discuss all my emotional and other family related problems on CE via conversation(really very grateful towards The Big_k for this feature).
So ,in all it depends on your experiences and somewhat habit(your psychology in some way).👍

Well, I am a new member here, but the active CEans here are just awesome, they know so much, and help each other, while when I compare fb , no one ever probably reply to the questions we can ask here, whether they are career related or technology ones, (I only add people whom I know in real) and out of around 300 people may be someone will take pain of answering like a technology related question, but when it comes about career, or a help in other academic stuff, no one will ever reply , Trust me!!😉

Moreover, I think CEans here are more experienced and knowledgeable when I compare them with fb friends.👍

So, My vote goes to CE !!

I dont ask questions , I check reviews about products.

I generally go through all the voice articles on CE, so if there is some question about any gadget i will just visit ce section and if I find the things good I will go ahead and buy.

And coming to questions if I have to ask one.. I ask my close group of friends, If I dont find a satisfactory answer I will ask on CE!

I think its about website content which is focused on specific domain and people here express genuinely. Same thing happen with stackoverflow, TomsHardware where people use to share and learn.
In real life I would better talk to them face to face or phone.
