Windows Phone 7.5 SMS Bug Fix: Hard Reset!

The SMS bug discovered in Windows Phone 7.5 mobile operating system can just crash your phone with an SMS and render the messaging functionality useless. The only fix that seems to be available at the moment is Hard Reset of the phone. If your Windows 7.5 phone receives an SMS with a string of characters then the OS goes in for a reboot. The discovered bug is not device or hardware specific. Experiments have revealed that it affects several parts of the operating system.

If you've pinned a friend as a live tile, then the bug will lock your handset. The flaw seems to affect the Windows live messenger and Facebook chat. In order to fix it, you have to reset the bug and disable the tile before it flips to show and update. Microsoft engineers seem to be aware of the issue and are working on a software update to fix the issue. In the mean time, we wish you all the best. Those who do not have Windows Phone may breath a sigh of relief while watching this video -
