  • Will This Forum Remain Or Everything Will Be Tranfered To The New Ecosystem?

    I was wondering if the new ecosystem will let the old forum be alive. As of now, the announcements led me think it will soon have the app ecosystem up and running. So, in other way may be the old forum will lose its effectiveness. So, what is the big catch here, are we having the old one with us? If yes, then till when (approximately) ? And if the old forum gonna die out anyway then will we be able to retrieve the old contents?

    I guess as its currently functioning as a batch-rollout we will have this forum for now. But I was expecting if we could have an overview of what the complete stuff will be and how the old one will be merged.

    ...if the IO becomes successful, it will be brought here 😀 . So everything will be accessible on .com; and this forum will become an app in the ecosystem. The merge will be decided by several factors. Totally depends upon how successful the new IO ecosystem becomes.

    Sir, 'apps' is just a name. The apps are still individual websites that will share common data whenever required. You may consider this forum as an app. We don't intend to change the UI whenever the merge happens. I'm guessing it's still a year or so away and depends upon how successful the IO system becomes.

    It's going to be super straightforward. I think this will be clear once we open access to the IO ecosystem.
