Self-driving cars come with a ton of advantages-
    • They are managed by machines, and we can expect them to cause lesser accidents.
    • No 'drunk-driving' incidents.
    • Safe for all types of passengers; at any time of the day.
    • No cheating (drivers taking longer routes to go from point A to B for more fare)
    • ...and so on
Do you think the self-driving cars will become the future of road travel and a necessity? Justify your viewpoint.

In UK there was a rule: Wearing seat belts must in cars made after 1985. This was because the older cars apparently did not have them as standard items. How to handle a mixed bag of vehicles on the road. Agencies like BBMP dig up a road without prior notice. How will an auto car handle such unreported issues. How will they handle drunken drivers, drivers disobeying traffic signals and such abnormal situations in very dense traffic?
I do not know about necessity. Will certainly be useful especially to the elderly.

#-Link-Snipped-# sir, the topic actually was a result of discussion about robots and computers replacing humans from jobs. It's simply not possible to ignore the serious advantages machines have over humans. 😀
