    cos waves are the same as sine waves, because cos x is equal to sin 90-x;
    So, cos x is nothing but a phase shifted version of sin x.

    So, there is nothing called a 'cos wave', per se. Only phase shifted sine wave.
    And, all phase variations of the normal sine wave are also called sine waves only.
    Are you sure? This action cannot be undone.
