Who Can Use The Title "Software Engineer"?

Well,i have done 4 year Engineering Degree In Information Technology(I.T) ! I CAN Call Myself An I.T Engineer, but can i call Myself a "Software Engineer"? Or In General , Who Can Use The Title "Engineer"? 😕 😒

    Well, that's a tricky question. Engineer who primarily works on code can call him/her-self a software engineer. In IT Industry, "IT" engineer is the one who is responsible for maintaining the computer systems and networks [the system administrators].

    Software Engineer is a person who has a general or detailed knowledge on the code of the project & general or detailed knowledge of one or all of the other phases of software production Analysis, design, implementation, evaluation, maintenance, documentation..etc.
