I'm a big fan of the IDEs developed by JetBrains Inc. They've got CLION as C/C++ IDE. Should do the job.

For C, I am using neovim (fork of vim)
Tried QTcreator for C++ too, nice tool.

Would anyone be interested if we get premium IDEs from JetBrains at a special discount?

Looks like they're now offering it for free to students: Buy CLion: Pricing and Licensing, Discounts - JetBrains Toolbox Subscription . They require verification
Students and teaching staff members are eligible to use all JetBrains tools for free upon verification based on domain or ISIC card.
Having using jetBrains IDE (phpStorm) for a several months now, I won't hesitate recommending it to everyone. It's perhaps the best php IDE I've ever used.

According to me "Geany" IDE is the best for C/C++. It is light-weight, Fast & Smart with lots of features making it very much user-friendly.
