What's so exciting about WhatsApp Voice Calls anyway?

People are going crazy after the voice calling feature in whatsapp and I fail to understand what's the buzz about? Isn't that technology old already? Skype's been offering video calls since ages but people are talking about it as if it's a game changing feature! Are you excited about voice calling as well?

    Using whatsapp even a villager using voice over internet now 😀

    Skype, viber were there but people didn't knew about it, whatsapp has reached to every common man now, for them it is entirely new and awesome thing they can think of.

    The story is same as of facebook, orkut was there, but facebook was successful in reaching to every common man that even includes rickshaw wala 😛
