    what does it signify?
    and also what is "curl" of a vector?

    Cross product of 2 vectors, results in 3rd vector which is perpenicular to both of them.

    Yeah as kedarjk said the result points to the perpendicular vector....

    In simple sense we can say ...we describe of a unknown vector with the help of known 2 vectors... and of characteristic... perpendicular to both vectors..
