    If you have a little programming skills you can create the real magic with matlab.

    How?

    image and video analyses
    dsp applications
    communication applications
    artificial intelligence and neural networks
    higher math works


    actually real trick is not programming.
    real trick is your point of view.Matlab has different toolboxes for different purposes.
    You should use the help menu to discover them so that you can learn spesific commands and use the strong of the internet search.

    There are tons of tutorials for different applications over the net.

    Matlab is an awsome toy.
