It is actually the measure of engine's size.
It is the volume displaced by the piston when it moves from Top Dead Center to Bottom Dead Center. -

Adding to #-Link-Snipped-# ,In Bikes its cc while in car it is termed in litres. e.g 1.4 lit; it simply means that the cylinders(all cylinders of the engine) has the capacity to have 1.4 lit of fuel mixture in one stroke. Simply Volume!! 😀 Clear #-Link-Snipped-# ? -

adding to @ #-Link-Snipped-#, in cars there are also cc .. yes, in cars it is written like 1.4 lit or 3.0 lit. it also represents cc..
as we know that 1lit=1000cm^3(cc). therefore in 1.4 lit there are 1400 cc and in 3.0 lit there are 3000 cc... i hope now its clear to you #-Link-Snipped-#.... if any doubt then feel free to ask -

cc means Cubic Centimeters. In bikes it is termed as cc where as in car it is termed as in liters.
