Project Abstract / Summary : INTRODUCTION
To maintain quality of water it was necessary to check the water from outlet of sewage treatment plants. The parameters checked are visibility and temperature. The data is sent using Zigbee and software is developed using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 .NET Framework.
    WORKING
Values of pollution causing parameters and all other details of the system are sent using RF signal to base station using zigbee transceiver module. At base station the data transmitted from field is received by another zigbee transceiver module and send data to a computer. The computer has user software which is capable of monitoring and controlling the system conditions. We can turn off the outlet pump manually from base station even if the required conditions are satisfied.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : We chose the topic as we found it most relevant in today's scenario where most of our natural resources are polluted with the sewage water from industries. We could make the system controllable by the governments pollution control board and they can shut-down the sewage outlet from the government office. So the industries will be forced to obey the rules.

Project Highlights : The project introduces an autonomous system which helps to maintain the quality without the intervention of human beings and the system shut-downs when the quality of water is low. With the implementation of the system, polluted water will not enter into our water resources. The system will pump out the water only if it is not harmful for the resources.
