Why cant we use a single voltage stabilizer for a house? is it necessary to use different stabilizers for different equipments.

    because all equipments are not connected in series as voltage appears and needs of voltages at houses need a variable one
    if voltage fluctuation exists some may restore some one don't so we need stabilizers for every equipment but anyway now a days every applience has inbuilt stabilizer but for more safety we add another one

    You can connect single voltage requlator to house but it will be very costly as the load increase the cost of stablizers will also increase . thst's why connect the main equiment with stablizer like TV, Refrigerator,DVD,etc...and tube light, Bulb,CFL's are left open to main suplly...!!
