VIVO-V9

VIVO V9 comes with iPhone like notch and 19:9 full view display

Vivo V9 comes with a 6.3 inch full HD screen with 19:9 aspect ratio. The body is made up of plastic but has a premium glossy finish on it. The phone comes with a smaller notch compared to that of iPhone X and houses the Proximity sensor, Earpiece, Notification Light, and the selfie camera. The phone runs on the Android 8.1. Oreo operating system based Funtouch 4.0 OS. It has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 626 SoC and is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The phone has an internal memory of 64 GB which is further expandable to 256 GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the back lies the dual camera setup which has a 16 MP + 5 MP sensor with an LED flash. At the front, there is a single camera setup which has a 24 MP sensor. Both the camera are AI(Artificial Intelligence) enabled and will help in improving the quality of the captured image. Software support will also be there which will make features like AR stickers, Image beautification, etc. possible in this device. The device is powered by a 3260 mAh battery with no fast charging support.

Talking about the sensors, the device has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It also has Gyroscope, Magnetic, and Proximity Sensor enabled within it. The phone also supports facial recognition and allows quick unlocking of the smartphone using the facial data of the user. Connectivity options include but are not limited to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, etc. The device has dedicated SIM slot that supports 2 nano-SIM cards. It still has a micro-USB type B tethering option and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for multimedia connectivity. The device also supports FM radio.

Overall, the camera features and the display are the high points of this device. The device not only has the design but also gesture features which resembles much like the newly launched iPhone X. Given that the device comes with decent hardware specifications and 90% full view display, which is in demand in 2018, its price will decide whether users will consider it worth buying. At a budget price, users who want camera-centric smartphone can consider this phone as an option, however, for the long run, one must wait for devices like Zenfone 5 series to appear in the market as that might hit the right balance between the price and hardware specification which normally these brands manages to miss. The device will be available for sale starting from March 23, 3 PM on Flipkart and one can get more information by checking this Online Shopping India | Buy Mobiles, Electronics, Appliances, Clothing and More Online at Flipkart.com.
