ViewSonic's ViewPad 7e Got Limitless Entertainment At Rs. 13,000/-

ViewSonic has been one of the most successful CRT monitor makers across the globe. This time the company has ventured into the field of tablets. The ViewPad 7e possess exciting features for an on-the-go tablet experience that fits well to your lifestyle as well as the size of your pocket just with a price of Rs. 13,000 for Indian market. The device has got millions of entertainment options to choose from which includes smooth web-surfing, e-reader, social networking, portable handheld gaming and many other 3rd party services for limitless entertainment. Mr. Ajay Sharma, Country Manager ViewSonic Technologies India announced the device launch in India but did not specify the exact dates. But we expect the device to venture into the market soon.

Powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the device also packs a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware on its board making it the ideal device for streaming high definition content. The device even supports handwriting recognition through RiteTouch technology.

The ViewPad 7e is designed to provide you with a stunning multimedia experience processed by a powerful 1 GHz ARM A8 processor with full Adobe flash support. In addition, the tablet comes with Amazon Appstore, a place where you can find millions of downloads that fits well to your needs, get app recommendations and shop through Amazon’s 1-click payment technology.

The most surprising feature is that you get the power to test your apps from your computer on the simulated android phone driven by a technology called ‘TestDrive’ before downloading it to your tablet. You can also shop the app right from your computer if you like it. In a nutshell, users have the power over apps usage and download. However, this limitless entertainment of app downloads through Amazon is limited to US only, which in turn may not be accepted worldwide.

I believe if the device holds good market share for years to come, ViewSonic is definitely going to include the Android Market app that could help the device attract better dealings.
