Vertu’s Second Android Smartphone Constellation Is Priced At Rs. 4,14,117 Only
Attention premiership footballers and Hollywood movie stars, there is a new Android smartphone phone to fit your luxurious life style. As you might have already guessed itâs from Vertu who were until the last year clinging on to the dying Symbian platform. Like the previous Ti this one too has Android but with a Jelly Bean (4.2) flavour. We shall explore its tech specs later but for now letâs shift our focus on its design first. While just a part of the Apple iPhone 5S (TouchID sensor) is made out of sapphire, the entire front of the 5.1 inch Vertu Constellation is made of a single sapphire crystal that weighs over 100 carats. The casing of the phone is made out of grade 5 titanium and the back is made out of what Vertu claims as âhigh quality calf leatherâ. The Constellation will be available in Cappuccino, Black, Orange, Mocha and Raspberry colour variants at a price of 4,900 euros which comes to about 4,14,117 INR.
Arriving at the point normally geeks are interested in, the technical specifications. The phone has a 4.3 inch 720p HD screen. Underneath it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core 1.7 GHz CPU and 32GB of internal memory. The primary rear camera is a 13 MP one capable of recording 1080p videos and the front snapper is the simple 1.3MP. Connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC are also taken care of. We donât know why but the #-Link-Snipped-# gives an entire paragraph describing the preloaded ringtones composed by the London Symphony Orchestra and a portfolio of English bird songs.
To make this really expensive phone a good deal, the company throws on exclusive services like Vertu Life and Vertu Certainty. The Vertu Life offers its customers exclusive privileges and unrestricted access to elite events around the world.
