VAIO E Series 14P Laptops Feature xLOUD & Multi-Gesture Trackpad

Sony's notebook division today announced the availability of VAIO E Series 14P laptop. While the new laptop may not feature technical awesomeness; it sure attracts attention with nice features & looks. The notebook features 'wrap-around' design with three fresh colors to choose from: black, white and pink. You will also enjoy crisp sound with xLOUD, Clear Phase and Dolby Home Theatre V4 technologies. The keyboard is backlit and an ambient sensor turns it on in low-light environments. The multi-gesture trackpad is generously sized and offers button-free control of the mouse cursor. You can use it to zoom photos, navigate through pages and scroll or pivote movements.

The E Series 14P also boasts brand new gesture control. If you want to flick through the web pages of photos, simply swipe your hand in front of the integrated HD web camera. If you want to pause a power point presentation or music player, simply put down your hand. The rotate movement of your hand can be used to adjust the volume of the music player. Cool, huh? The notebook also features hybrid graphics technology which turns on the dedicated GPU while running graphics intensive applications. During regular use, the GPU is cut-off to save power. Sony promises battery backup of about 7 hours with the standard configuration and regular use.
