  • You don’t need to be upset if your vehicle components do not permit you to listen to razor sharp quality music. Ford car owners across UK will soon get to have a USB music box developed for the cars which do not have such hardware in them by default.

It is nowadays a popular trend for the automobile companies to equip their vehicles with extra facilities like music systems, apps and radio or light arrangements. However as a brand advances with each launch of a popular model, the earlier vehicles get behind time. Same was the case with Ford car owners with older version of cars until recently, but now with the new USB music device, the company has enabled drivers and passengers to insert any USB stick or MP3 player in the music box and enjoy their selected music; that too with high quality.

The music box is only an aesthetic ‘technological’ feature and can be easily placed in any of the vacant spaces provided by the auto manufacturer like a glove compartment or even at the arm rest. The only part which you will have to use is the USB socket and get your mass storage devices playing some melodious music for you. Other features like selecting a particular song and software technicalities remains more or less the same as seen in other devices.

While designing the box, Ford has tried to cover almost all of its earlier models. However, to be precise, the USB music is compatible with the following list- Fiesta 2006 – 2008, Fusion from 2006, Focus 2004 – 2011, C-MAX 2003 – 2010, Kuga Mondeo from 2004, S-MAX Galaxy from 2006, Transit Connect from 2006, Transit from 2006. The Music box will be available with all Ford outlets in UK from 1 January, 2012 and can be bought for £82.99 including excluding fitment charges.
