    Please help me with a problem. I need to know how many batteries will be for UPS 120 kVA with 1. battery : 3x40x100 Ah
    2. second type battery 2x62x120 Ah.

    Hello Victoria,
    Please provide complete information about load
    • Assuming that your overall load requires 120VAC, 1000Amps
      then, 1. 120(3*40) batteries of 100Ah rating will provide 12Hrs of backup

    • Assuming that your overall load requires 120VAC, 1000Amps
      then, 124(2*62) batteries of 120Ah rating will provide 15 Hrs(apx.) of backup
      Its totally depends on load.

      This are in ideal conditions. But in practice their will some factors that reduces the battery backup.
      If you want higher back up time then you should go for 2nd option
      May be this will help you.
