UNIVERSITY SEARCH ENGINE
Project Abstract / Summary : University Search Engine is aimed at developing a Repository and Search Engine for alumni of the university, which is of important to a university. The University Search Engine project is an Internet based application that can be accessed throughout the World. Anyone can access the search Engine to know about any Alumni of that college but can’t able to add to the database . University Search Engine can only update the database when they belong to the University.
This system can be used as an application for the Search Engine to manage the University information and student information. Student logging should be able to upload the information.
The recongnization of the students who belong to the university is done through the valid roll number which is given by the university during the course. The Proposed system is a computerized system which is maintained at Centralized databases i.e. in automated forms it’s a very fast process and maintaining all the records in online systems database which makes it very easy to access and retrieve data from the database. If they want any record they can easily search all the records. It provides multiple user accessibility and also has different user privileges. So the system is accessible for all the employees as well as students of the organization.
Why did you choose to work on this project topic : As we both are very interested in innovative ideas while watching the Google search engine we thought that why can't we create a search engine for the university we are studying and next we started working on our idea and completed our work successfully.
