Project Abstract / Summary : ABSTRACT
Intelligent Energy Saving System can be used in places like where lighting is very important.The libraries will be well illuminated with many lamps.When people are not present at reading place the lighting can be made OFF and when they are present,the lighting made ON.All these can be done through by LDR circuit and PIR sensor.
If a person entering to the monitored area,the PIR sensors activates and sense the person,gives to the micro-controller.The infrared energy emitted from the living body.Then only the PIR sensor activates.After sensing the person LDR checks the light intensity of the monitored area,whether it is bright or dark depending on the LDR output,the lamp may be ON/OFF.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : We live in an age where energy is an absolute necessity to maintain our lifestyle and it goes beyond the basics of providing comfort and convenience. We only need to think back to the last power cut to understand the reality of life without energy, when nothing that you've come to be dependent on works.Energy saving is most important issue in todays life.This project is first step towards energy saving.This concept can be used everywhere in future.We think that,
1.Saving energy means wasting less money.
2.Saving energy means wasting less primary fuel (coal, gas, oil, uranium)
