uBuntu On Tablets In 2014 - Official Confirmation By Mark Shuttleworth

At uBuntu Developer Summit everyone associated with uBuntu - Canonical employees, industry partners & active community members have gathered. Canonical founder, Mark Shuttleworth has revealed lot of good things about uBuntu. Mark challenged the uBuntu developer community to port the operating system to tablets. Oneiric has added ARM support so by the time 14.04 arrives, it may just work very well with tablets. Among the other revelations made, 12.04 LTS support will be extended to 5 years. Mark clearly mentioned that his company is targeting corporate deployments of the operating system.

The hackers have already been successful in running uBuntu on Samsung Galaxy Tablet however it's not officially acknowledge yet. It would be quite amazing to see uBuntu running on Tablets, televisions and your car's dashboards.
