uBuntu For Android Announced
We're already beginning to envision a world where only one small computing device would take care of all our computing and communications needs; and that device could be your mobile phone. Canonical, the firm behind famous uBuntu distro has just announced uBuntu for Android: a fully functional uBuntu operating system for  your docked Android multi-core phone! What this means that you can simply dock your Android phone loaded with uBuntu to any bigger screen & keyboard and it'll give you a full-fledged desktop operating system. With multiple core processors at work; you can use your mobile as a phone and desktop at the same time!

Canonical aims to develop a customized version of uBuntu to play nice with Android and share data, services simultaneously. These features include full fledged web browsing experience on larger screens, unified Android & uBuntu contacts, synched calendars, messaging & calls through the desktop, easy to use settings and tight integration with social networks.
uBuntu for Android would need 1 GHz, dual-core CPU, shared kernel driver with associated X driver; Open GL, ES/EGL, 2GB free space on disc, HDMI Video Out, USB host mode and around 2GB of RAM.
