Micro-blogging major Twitter now offers its users more control of their uploaded pictures. The Twitter app for Android and iOS have been updated, and the photo filter grid has been replaced with a more user-friendly Instagram-styled row of adjustable filters. According to Techcruch, double-tapping the filters reveals an intensity-slider that lists thumbnails of how the photographs shall look. The intensity of the filters could be changed via the slider.
Earlier, Facebook was "inspired" by the hashtags and @-mentions on Twitter, which it later adopted into its own social media platform.
