    Hi!
    Does anyone know any free tutorial or other resources to learn basics of DeviceNet, ControlNet and Modbus protocols online? If there are some courses/video series focused towards use of these protocols in Industrial Automation, it will be a great help!

    You can alos find details about ControlNet on the ODVA website. Given the fact DeviceNet and ControlNet are primarily used by Rockwell Automation, there are not enough resources apart from technical manuals and troubleshooting documents that explain very basics of these protocols. Still, for a beginner who wants to just know the terminologies and how to configure AB automation equipment using these protocols, Rockwell Automation manuals are very detailed with step-wise instructions.
