Transmission Of Blood Level Information Wirelessly Through Implantable Device.

EPFL Scientists alongwith a group of scientists developed a minute electronic device(a Tiny Blood testing Lab) which is capable of monitoring the blood's data & transmit the recorded data wirelessly.

This device is only of few millimeters cube of volume which have to be placed in interstitial tissue just below the skin of the Arms or legs with needle. The Circuit consists of a blood-tester which is of 14mm of length & consisting of 5 on-board nano-sized sensors capable of measuring five chemical substances at once.A tiny coil is embedded in the circuit to give the power to the Radio transmitter for wirelessly calculated data transfer.

There is a battery patch which is used to charge the electronic device. While the Implanted device delivers the data to the patch which uses Bluetooth 4.0 to deliver information to Smartphone or any device in a telemedicine network.
