TouchScreen Controller On Way For Next Xbox?

It has been quite a few days since we last reported about the next generation Xbox. Interestingly, till now we had news about the console but now we have reports claiming that the next Xbox controller would have a touchscreen. According to Xbox World magazine, UK, controller for the next generation Xbox would have some kind of touchscreen display which would serve multiple purposes for the console.

The reports claim that the controller would have regular buttons and sticks along with a HD screen that would be in shape of Sony's PS Vita rather than the bulky Wii U's touchscreen controller. The new controller would feature multiple functionalities including its use as a remote while watching TV, other information and controls being displayed while playing games, as a browser while surfing the web and so many other features. But the reports also suggests the Microsoft is experimenting with the concept and there is no word that it would be on the production line soon or not.
Gamers have been rejoicing on the traditional controller which is claimed to be the best console controller to be ever made and it would be interesting to see how they respond to this new move by Microsoft. The whole unit is definitely going to be expensive with the addition of such controller, so Microsoft rather pay attention to the price factor rather than innovating new design functionalities at this moment.
