Topics to include in R tutorials

Hi,

I am planning to write a book on R programming. Can anyone help me with different areas (class of functions) offered by R so that I can organize my content. From what I have seen or heard so far, R provides following class of functions: -

Class of functions to manipulate data items and perform calculations on them.
Matrix operations
File operations where the data stored in a file is processed and analyzed
Representation of data in the form of plots, graphs etc.
Analysis tools like correlation function etc.
Simulation of a mathematical event

Let me know of other function classes as well. For example, does it support image processing, audio data processing etc ?

I am interested in broad functionalities offered by R language.

Is it a separate platform or I have to just include the tutorials as posts (messages/threads)?
