The Top Mistake Fresh Computer Science / IT Graduates Make In Their Resume
In the competitive job markets, everyone wants to emerge as the superman/woman so that the employers offer your dream job to you! In the process, I've observed, almost everyone makes the SAME mistake - and it can be avoided; because it's actually a silly mistake! Please read this short article/advice and share it with your friends, and tell them about <a href="https://www.crazyengineers.com">CrazyEngineers</a> too 😀
Showing Your, almost unbelievable, Super Powers and Skills Set!
While conducting technical interviews, I found that a large number of CS/IT engineering graduates love to boast their skills and write almost every computer programming language known to humans in their resume. Their resume invariably mentions:
Skills: C, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, Ruby, C#, PERL ...
Better Strategy:
Do some hard work over a period of time and develop some mastery over 2-3 programming languages. Build a few projects on your own and mention them in your resume! That'd be kick-ass and something every interviewer would get impressed with.
If you know a bit about other programming languages, why not simply say "Fair Exposure To: PHP, Ruby, C#, Swift etc. That tells the interviewer that you're prepared with C, C++ and Java but know a bit about other languages too! It will create a much better impression!

Are you freakin kiddin me?If you've been coding for the past 7-10 years and have developed medium to large projects entirely on your own, then I'll take you seriously. But, if all you have done is copied assignments and memorised 'bubble sort' in C and C++; don't even bother mentioning these programming languages.
