Let's review what it is that we are inventing.
A commodity to spend and use.

    DIRT
Dirt is picked up and put into a cardboard box. And sold
    or used as currency. WOW.
Everyone would be shoveling dirt into cardboard boxes. LOL WOW
But oh so true. Then the boxes got bigger and they still did it. And even bigger
and a lot of people dropped out but still wanted it so they paid others to dig the dirt.

There are a lot of reasons why they dug the dirt.
We all have to survive and most go the way of least resistance. And if it's digging dirt on your
schedule and place of privacy, well they will dig the dirt.
Now replace the DIRT with ENERGY. They dig energy and put it in a box for sale or use.
    COOL
That is great because that gives people a choice if they want to work or not.
To create something of value in which to gain other things legally without risk.
To base a business on. Like collecting bottles except the amount of
    bottles lying around is endless.
That's the economic stimulus,,, the creation of a local commodity that has a demand
    in place already. Energy, Electricity.
An economic engine that once started will be perpetual in nature. Always in demand.
    Always of a value.

A mechanical battery that's in the box that's being filled.

Cull the wind to use it's force to charge a box with power that can be sold and used
    in all sort of ways.
    Mostly for electricity.

It could even drive a local currency.
Support a local co-op type banking system. With energy credits and taxation.
Which supports a local health care system and infrastructure. Rail and road. Security.

Give people work, a means to create money. Create the box in which they can charge.
    And the power will create
cottage industries through out the back waters of the lands.
