The Ol' 'New iPad' Comes To India On April 27. Price Begins At Rs. 30500

Look, Apple calls their new tablet the 'New iPad' which means we have no right to call it the 'iPad 3'. Apple's Tim Cook may change his mind and may call name the next device as iPad 3. Even though the new iPad was launched recently, it already feels like it's already old. Apple has announced that they are launching the new iPad in Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela on April 20th and in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand on April 27th.

Apple New iPad Comes To India

Now comes the most important part - the price of new iPad in India. The basic 16 Gb Wi-Fi only model will cost about Rs. 30500 and WiFi+4G model will cost Rs. 38900. Those who think that buying the 100 Mbps 4G model is a better choice as #-Link-Snipped-# will be disappointed to know that iPad 4G won't work here. We've learned from various sources #-Link-Snipped-# that Apple's 4G iPad is designed to work with the spectrums available only in the USA.

Don't be disappointed. Unless you're crazy for an upgraded processor, better display and 4G; we'd recommend settling with iPad 2. It's just good and now available at reduced prices starting at Rs. 24500. Do let us know what your decision is.
