Technology: boon or a bane?

I was going through a very nice article on technology. The main point discussed there was, is technology a boon or bane?

Some important example that very given were:

Nuclear Fission plants - massive electricity generation is the benefit that is a boon for thousands, however that's polluting the environment crucially.
Microwave Radio Frequency - A boon for the TV, Mobiles, Radio stations, Weather stations and at the same time causing the global warming.

I was just wondering that are we really sitting on a tree's branch and cutting it?

What do you think about that?

In Recent years, I personally feel, Technology has started to rule us.
Man creates technology, To make his/her life more comfortable. Right from Electricity to internet. It has brought huge revolution in the field of communication faster which led to end up of telegram.

But Are we people becoming lazy because of it. Children sit up with their video games and lose their physical activity. Five percent of our population are affected by Obesity. Is that, Technology is the root cause for it?

Because, I think all the latest technologies is harmful the green beautiful Earth.Not only that, human beings are also highly affected by the new technologies.
The serious example is Electronics. In this era, no person can live without internet/gadgets/communication for single day.
Internet is another addiction & any addiction makes a person retard.

However there is positive side too, but the good side of the inventions & curiosity of the homo-sapiens is ruining the Environment.
It's just no way to revert changes anymore, We're harming the nature & ourself, we know it & still we won't be able to do anything. Self-destruction.

Well that is the boon of technology Now you are free to boast to others that your tweeny little one can operate a Computer without any hinderance or support Cos of technology (gui)

At the same time remember when your daughter got ill and you had to cut your time in CE, That is technologies bane. We developed not only ourself but also the tweeny weeny Bacterias all around us.

We found shocking news that the World's Best Antibiotic is Powerless against virus Strains That is the bane of our so called intelligent technology

At the same time remember when your daughter got ill and you had to cut your time in CE, That is technologies bane. We developed not only ourself but also the tweeny weeny Bacterias all around us.

I bet none of us knows how to use a typewriter properly like we do the keyboard! I've my grandpa's with me and it's hard to get used to it. Well looks like neglecting the old school technology for newer ones just adds to our laziness. I wonder why no one has tried to modify the typewriter. If so then we'd have a keyboard that could print even without the use of power! Somehow everything we invent utilizes power. I was always envious of the polaroid cameras that produced the picture instantaneously with the shot! Wish I could get one with the latest lens and capture technology.

Typewriter's are still used, isn't it ? 😨
Typewriter have many major drawback :
- Wastage of paper & ink.
- Computer can save large data properly, have you wondered how the world would look like without computers & people using only typewriter everywhere ?

These are some boon though.
In my opinion, every technology has both boon & bane, no technology: NONE! comes with either of two.

You are mistaking a little Big guy But once the print commend is given in a printer and the page starts to print There is no reversing of the action at all.

But type writers comes to the rescue here

Hence the word 'modified' typewriter was what I've used! Can't a redesigned and more effable product be made out of what was once a slow typing tool?
