TATA Safari Storme Facelift SUV Introduced In India For Rs. 9.99 Lakh
The 2015 TATA Safari Storme facelift has made its grand appearance in India at a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). There's a lot of stuff to look forward to from this SUV in terms of integrated connectivity features and a new design on both exteriors and interiors. Powered by a 2.2 litre VARICOR mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, this SUV delivers max power output of 148bhp and max torque of 320Nm. The acceleration from 0-100kmph is said to be just 14 seconds. From the looks of it, the features to stand out are the new honeycomb front grill with prominent black STORME lettering on bonnet. Then there's new TATA signature multi-function steering wheel, ultrasonic reverse parking sensors, new integrated Harman infotainment system and java black interiors with silver accents.
Available in four variants: LX (4x2), EX (4x2), VX (4x2 and 4x4), the Tata Safari Storme stands out on the safety front with the presence of airbags for the top end VX variants as well as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) & EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution).
