We've just got a little gem for all of you! Now you can tag any user on CrazyEngineers with a simple [@] sign. How does this work? It's very, damn, quite simple!

How does this work?

Start composing your reply
Append @ in front of any user name
Awesomeness: The system offers username suggestions on the fly!
More Awesomeness: Tagged user receives alert!

The system is limited to CrazyEngineers. All the users on CE can be tagged using the system.

You could link to your twitter handle by inserting a link. But if there's a user with that name, it'll be linked.

In that case, there should be some kinda escaping mechanism for tagging right? Keep it in mind and implement when you get time! 😀

Update: The tagging does not work on your individual walls at present. But guess what? The iPad 1 didn't have a camera!

Update: We might have few issues with the usernames that have spaces and are ALL CAPS. But it should be fixed very very soon 😀
