SWIPEON: Axis bank has launched a mobile based card acceptance service

In order to befits small home delivery based stores, cash-on delivery business, Travel services and road markets Axis bank had launched a mobile phone based card acceptance service: SWIPEON. Axis Bank has launched this service in association with Prizm Payments and Mswipe Technologies.

Using this service and Mswipe card reader any mobile phone can be converted into card reader and would help the many that deals only in card while delivering or in transit.

This type of services should definately be helpful in countries like India. But, do you think that in India these services would be safe to use?
