Suggestions for Courses to be done in Year Down case

Hello mam/Sir 

 I got YD at 3rd year of engineering due to only 1 critical subject. My 2nd year percentage is near about Second Class now but I am tensed that next 6 months should not be wasted as I am not able to attend the college of Final Year (IT).So I would like to ask you that what type of technical certification courses are required by the IT companies while selecting the candidate ? and a gap of 2 years is allowed ?
