Our project is an AGV working on the line following principle. The AGV is intended to transport books in our college library. We intend to make it AUTONOMOUS. We've fabricated the mechanical frame and also attached the motors. The motors are capable of driving upto 40kgs.

    Motor Specifications:
    Voltage: 12V
    Amperage: 5A
    Power output: 60W

The output from the 8051 is not enough to drive our motors. We will have to either amplify the output from the 8051 before being sent to the H-Bridge. Or we will have to find an alternative. Please give us your valuable suggestion.

Have a look at L297-L6203 Datasheet. you can achieve that much current by using both of them just problem is that operated at 24 volt so have a look at it.
