Router specific configuration will vary. Have you tried setting up your router in bridge mode? That should work, I guess.Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

Right click on wifi --> properties -->General --> Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).
Is it set as "Obtain an IP Address Automatically".
open command prompt.
run ipconfig /all
set the IP address and DNS servers as given.
From IP address XXX.XXX.XXX.ZZZ , set any of your ZZZ high like 50+ otherwise if lots of devices connected to your router and after that you will connect to it you may face IP address conflict.

Are you trying to access your PC from the outside world? Is that why you need to know the address?
I'm not sure what you're doing, so I don't know if it's relevant, but this URL returns your external IP address, and no extra text or formating: #-Link-Snipped-#
If you are running Linux (you didn't say which OS you're using) and you have write access to any website, you can create a script and run it often with cron to copy your IP address to a small text file on your site, something like this:#/bin/sh curl -s https://queryip.net/ip/ | ssh mysite.example.com 'cat > public_html/ip.txt'
Then, from anywhere in the world, you can get your home IP address like this:
IP="$(curl -s https://mysite.example.com/ip.txt)"
Alternately, you can use your home's URL. Most ISPs assign boring URLs to each and every IP address they have. You can get it almost the same way: #-Link-Snipped-#Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -
