Spray-On Antenna For Better Network Coverage Anywhere!

A Utah Start-up has introduced a new and creative way of boosting your antenna reception with a portable solution in the form of a Spray-On antenna. The company has aimed the product at smartphone users who experience the problem of poor cellphone reception. The Spray-On antenna could be sprayed on any host, such as a cloth and a tree and the host object would then act as a signal-booster.

The concept made its debut at #-Link-Snipped-# and clearly stood out among all entries for its efficient and unusual technique. The company, ChamTechOps -, demonstrated their device by spraying it on a tree and were able to send across a VHF signal up to 14 miles away using only the treated tree confirming how powerful the signal-booster is. The secret behind this can of antenna are thousands of nanocapacitors. When you spray the can on a surface, the nanocapacitors from the can align themselves and create a wireless antenna for devices in its range. So, instead of tall, traditional antennas, nano-paint on the walls could do the trick, allowing for easier portability.

The company has put forward the idea not just for infotainment but for sale too. Chamtech is planning to promote it as 'Spray on Antenna Kit.' A word on pricing would soon be available. Chamtech has been in talks with government customers but in hope for a wider customer base they are equally keen on mobile phone makers and manufacturers of medical devices.

Well then, it doesn't really matter who has got the best network coverage now if you carry a can of antenna. Ah, so much for the competitive ads.
