SONY HMZ-T2 Head Mounted 3D Viewer's Details And Pricing Revealed In Japan

Sony HMZ-T2, the followup to last year's Sony #-Link-Snipped-# (the first head-mounted 3D display), was announced a little while ago at IFA 2012, Japan. A few more details regarding the modifications and developments were rolled out, and even the release date and pricing were made known. Scheduled to enter the market on October 13th, the HMZ-T2 has all the necessary upgrades- lighter weight, earbuds in place of headphones, 24p camera support, redesigned head strap for more comfort, and a 'Clear' panel drive mode.

The US price is still a mystery, but the Japanese estimate is around 70k yen ($894), which is 10k yen more than last year's model. Here's a video -
