The SolidWorks Electrical is a 2D schematic design tool for electrical system architecture design and planning. Aimed at solving the design process with an intuitive interface, the tool can detect common design issues in real time. It ships with a library of over 500,000 standard electrical parts which makes design process more accurate when you are collaborating with several people on a project.

The SolidWorks Electrical 3D is a SolidWorks CAD add-on to connect the 2D systems to 3D models designed in SolidWorks. It can sync electro-mechanical designs from 2D to 3D and vice versa in real time.

The SolidWorks Electrical Professional is a combo pack that includes both the above packs in a single application.
