SOLAR ROBOT
Project Abstract / Summary : Solar robot is the project in which a robot is developed which is powered by solar panel and which is used to carry light loads like cotton and other appliances from base station to the respective destinations. Basically robot operates on RF remote. In this project solar panel is a power source for robot. Battery is charged through panel. Keys on the RF remote are used to control robot movement.
Why did you choose to work on this project topic : Solar energy is a renewable and never ending source of energy. We are using this energy in our robot so that the development will proceed in an eco-friendly manner. Right now the project is on small scale, but if the solar panel dimensions, the number of batteries and corresponding components are increased then our robot will be able to perform the tasks including heavy jobs.
