Solar Powered ATM In Bali By Green School Is The Coolest Ever
Green School in Bali, Indonesia is famous for giving its students a holistic and green education in one of the most amazing environments on the planet. The folks at Green School have come up with a Solar-Powered ATM that doesn't use concrete. Instead, they set up the ATM on top of a huge stone and enclosed it with bamboo, glass and recycled aluminum. What's interesting, as you can see from the picture below, are the set of solar panels installed on top of four bamboo stalks where they receive just enough sunlight.

Solar ATMs are not a new concept. #-Link-Snipped-# has already set up solar-powered ATMs in rural areas of India. Green School founder John Hardy says, "It's not a perfect world. The solar panel is normal GE solar panels, cable is regular cable. We are very proud at how we made the whole thing look and appear."
This ATM is helping the local community a lot. They have saved the expense on gasoline as a lot of their trips to other villages for getting cash. We like.
